1908 Raceabout Takes Home Grand Prize in the Texaco Car of the Decades Contest
- Chevron Products Company (NYSE:CVX) today announced that a 1908 Raceabout is the grand prize winner in the Texaco Car of the Decades contest. The virtual auto show contest allowed participants to vote for their favorite cars from every decade in the 20th century through present day, culminating in 11 decade winners and one grand prize winner.

Car of the Decades Celebrates Texaco's Rich Heritage, Rewards Car Enthusiasts with Virtual Auto Show
Chevron Products Company today announced the launch of Texaco's Car of the Decades virtual auto show contest that celebrates car enthusiasts and owners of classic cars across the country. Now in its third year, the contest allows participants to vote for their favorite cars from every decade in the 20th century through present day, and will feature up to eleven winners, one car per decade, and one grand prize winner, the editor's pick among all winning cars.

Texaco Launches New Ad Campaign
Chevron Global Marketing recently began promoting its Texaco branded fuels with new ads that celebrate people who know and love their cars, are driven by performance and trust only one brand of fuel — Texaco with Techron®. The new ads, which continue to reinforce the "people in the know love Texaco" theme, are now appearing on television, radio, outdoor, point-of-sale and online media outlets in North America. The campaign launches in Latin American markets beginning in July 2009.

Chevron to End NASCAR Sponsorship After 2008 Season
Chevron announced today that it will end its NASCAR sponsorship after the 2008 season. As a part of this action, Chevron will pursue new marketing strategies in support of the Texaco and Havoline brands with a focus on increased awareness through local and regional marketing programs.

In celebration of Texaco's 20th anniversary in sponsoring stock car racing and a successful season for rookie driver Juan Pablo Montoya, Chevron Products Company introduced its special limited edition gift card carrying the image of the No. 42 Texaco/Havoline race car and driver Juan Pablo Montoya. The Texaco/Havoline branded gift cards are now available for purchase in denominations up to $100 at participating Texaco stations or online.

Texaco Celebrates Cars and People Who Love Them with Car of the Decades Virtual Auto Show Contest
On July 27 Texaco launched the Car of the Decades contest celebrating cars and the people who love them with a virtual auto show that lets visitors decide the best cars from every decade in the 20th century through today. Until September 3, auto enthusiasts can register online at TexacoCaroftheDecades.com to enter their favorite car for a chance to win a grand prize package featuring VIP treatment at the launch of the 2008 season at Daytona, a customized and framed artist's rendering of the winning car, and a $500 Texaco gift card. The public will vote for the winners of each decade, and then a panel of judges, including Mario Andretti and Juan Pablo Montoya, will pick the Grand Prize winner.

Texaco Becomes First-Ever Fuel Sponsor for Primedia's Top Automotive Publications
Chevron Global Marketing today announced a new agreement between Chevron Products Company and PRIMEDIA Enterprises, the licensing and merchandising division of PRIMEDIA Inc., in which Texaco with TechronŽ, one of Chevron's three fuel brands, will become the first-ever official fuel sponsor for seven of PRIMEDIA's leading automotive consumer publications, including Motor Trend, Automobile, Truck Trend, Sport Compact Car, European Car, Motorcyclist and Dirt Rider.

Chevron Gains Exclusive Rights to Texaco Brand
Chevron today announced that it is gaining exclusive rights to the Texaco brand for retail locations in the United States on July 1, 2006. Only those Texaco stations supplied by Chevron are allowed to carry the Texaco brand. Customers can be sure they are at a Chevron-supplied Texaco station when they see the "with Techron™" identification at the gasoline pumps and point-of-purchase displays.
