NEXTEL Cup Series
- Testing: Montoya and the No. 30 Texaco/Havoline team tested a NASCAR NEXTEL Cup car at Homestead-Miami Speedway in preparation for the 267-lap event. Montoya participated in the two-day open test session last month with teammates Casey Mears, Reed Sorenson and David Stremme.
- Chassis: Crew chief Boyer and the Texaco/Havoline team are taking chassis #620 for Montoya’s Cup debut this weekend. This is a new chassis in the Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates stable. Montoya did test this car at Homestead-Miami Speedway last month.
- RaceWatch: RaceWatch is the fan's resource for the latest news on what’s going on within NASCAR. Distributed free to all fans upon entering each and every NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series event, RaceWatch provides added value to their race-day experience. In its commemorative season-ending issue at Homestead-Miami Speedway, included in RaceWatch will be a miniature No. 42 Texaco/Havoline Montoya hero card. There will be 42 lucky readers who will find their hero card signed by Montoya.

This video was produced to celebrate two firsts for Texaco/Havoline Racing: the 2007 driver of the No. 42 Texaco/Havoline car, Montoya, and the launch of new Havoline with Deposit Shield motor oil, available soon in stores near you.
- NASCAR Foundation Walk: Montoya and his wife Connie will be participating in the NASCAR Foundation Track Walk on Saturday at Homestead-Miami Speedway at 8:30 a.m. ET. Proceeds from the walk will benefit The Victory Junction Gang, The Darrell Gwynn Foundation and The NASCAR Foundation.
- Racing, Inc.: Chip Ganassi Racing is the focus this week in a SPEED TV special called Racing Incorporated which takes viewers inside the business of racing with a close-up look at the motorsports operations of team owner Chip Ganassi. The pair of one-hour specials will air this Wednesday, Nov. 15 and Thursday, Nov. 16, at 8 p.m. ET and PT (re-played at 11 pm ET). Racing Incorporated was given unprecedented access by the team to its race shops in Indianapolis, Ind., and Concord, N.C., over a several weeks this past summer for a behind-the-scenes look at the inner workings of Ganassi's IndyCar, NASCAR, and Grand American Sports Car Series operations.
Busch Series:
- Team: Montoya will be making his fourth Busch Series start with crew chief Parrott and the No. 42 Texaco/Havoline team. The team is bringing chassis #654 for the final Busch Series event of the season. Earlier this year, Montoya's teammate Mears drove this chassis to victory lane at Chicagoland Speedway and to top-five finishes at Lowe's Motor Speedway in May and Michigan International Speedway in August.
- Stock Car Experience: Montoya has made three NASCAR Busch Series starts this season, in addition to several test sessions. His best finish this season was 11th in the debut at Memphis Motorsports Park. In his last two efforts at Texas and Phoenix, Montoya and the Texaco/Havoline team finished 28th and 20th respectively.
