Sponsorships

Sponsorships - United States Banner

Every product and service that Texaco offers is built around performance. It’s a century-old tradition that has become an integral part of the Texaco brand. So it goes without saying that our community involvement is focused on endorsements that share the same commitment to delivering the utmost in performance.

Dallas Cowboys

Dallas Cowboys

Considering both the Texaco brand and the Dallas Cowboys have star logos which represent legendary performance and their Texan roots, it's only natural for Texaco to be the official sponsor of this iconic, 5-time Super Bowl Champion NFL team.

Mississippi State University

The Bulldogs have earned their moniker through a tradition of tough, tenacious NCAA Division 1 play by student-athletes. And every time the Bulldogs have celebrated one of their 28 SEC Championships, their signature cowbell can be heard loud and clear across Starkville.

University of Alabama

You can call Alabama the Crimson Tide, and you can also call them champions. Including their recent 2010 title, men's football has 13 NCAA national championships, men's baseball has 14 SEC regular season titles and the women have six College World Series appearances for softball. The Crimson Tide know the meaning of enduring performance.

University of Georgia

The Georgia Bulldogs are known for their ferocious drive and winning tradition. Across 19 different athletic teams, the Bulldogs have won a combined 37 national championships and 130 SEC championships, as well as proudly supporting over 110 Bulldog athletes in the Olympics since 1936.

University of Florida

When you think of the Florida Gators, the first word that should come to mind is "champions". Since 1986, the Gators have won 19 of the last 23 SEC All-Sports Trophies, making them the best overall athletics program in the SEC. Their men's football and baseball teams both have two National Championships in the new millennium. They're also the only Division 1 program ranked in the top 10 national athletic programs in each of the last 23 years.

Louisiana State University

The purple and gold colors of the LSU Tigers also happen to be two of the three colors of Mardi Gras, and the third color, green, belongs to longtime LSU rival, Tulane. The LSU Tigers boast an impressive athletic history, with men's football winning three national championships, and the men's baseball team with six NCAA College World Series titles, most recently in 2009.

Texas A&M

Less than 200 miles from the 1904 oil strike in Spindletop, Texas - the birthplace of Texaco - lies the city of College Station, the home of Texas A&M University. The Texas A&M Aggies compete in Division 1 and hold a total of eight team national championships in football, men's golf, men's and women's outdoor track & field, softball and equestrian.

Oregon State University

Led by team mascot, Benny Beaver, OSU has a rich athletic history originating in 1893, and includes three national championships - two of which were back-to-back NCAA Division I Men's Baseball Championships in 2006 and 2007.

Washington State University

A member of the PAC-10 conference, the Cougars hold three national championships, one of which was for Men’s Basketball, and over 15 different varsity athletics teams which compete at the Division 1 level.

Boise State University

Although many know Boise State for their unique blue turf football field, the Broncos should be better known for their remarkable success in football over the last ten years. Their 93-17 record, seven conference wins and five wins in eight bowl appearances has spurred them to two undefeated regular seasons in the last four years.

California State University - Fresno

Better known as Fresno State, the Bulldogs have 16 varsity sports teams which compete in the Western Athletic Conference, and earned two national championships within a 10-year span; one in baseball and one in softball.

University of Utah

The Utes have celebrated a long history of athletic excellence, becoming the first university to produce #1 overall draft picks in both the NFL and the NBA in the same year. The Utes have 18 varsity teams which compete in the Mountain West Conference, and considering their Salt Lake City location, its no surprise they’ve won 10 NCAA Skiing Championships.
