In 2006, Texaco will kick off its 19th consecutive season as a sponsor for the NEXTEL Cup Series, viewed by millions of fans at racetracks across the U.S. and on television worldwide. The No. 42 Texaco/Havoline Dodge car will be driven by rising star Casey Mears beginning with the new season.

Texaco's sponsorship of Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates (CGRFS) represents a long history of motor sports partnerships for the high performance brand. Its honor roll of drivers includes Davey Allison, Ernie Irvan, Dale Jarrett, Kenny Irwin, Ricky Rudd and Jamie McMurray, who have amassed a combined total of 27 victories in Texaco/Havoline cars.
