Texaco in Nigeria
Texaco has been selling its products in Nigeria since 1913. Today Texaco Nigeria Plc operates 381 service stations and has more than 235 employees. It has a retail market share of about 8 percent. The company has a significant oil storage capability, including a 103,000-barrel storage terminal at Apapa, near Lagos. It also owns manufacturing facilities, including a lubricant blending plant at Apapa, capable of producing 250,000 barrels per year.
