Texaco in Costa Rica
Texas Company Ltd.—later to become Texaco Caribbean Inc.—has operated in Costa Rica since 1941.

• Texaco Caribbean markets lubricants through local distributors. Packaged lubricants are imported from El Salvador and Houston.
• Texaco Caribbean operates eight service stations, including four Star Marts. There are also four contractor operated service stations, including three Star Marts.
• Texaco Costa Rica sells aviation fuel and lubricants to international airlines at Juan Santamaría International Airport.
