Texaco Power Premium with Techron^® can maximize performance in cars designed to use high-octane gasoline. High-octane Texaco Power Premium can give knock sensor-equipped cars faster acceleration or quieter performance than lower octane gasolines. No premium gasoline sold will give your high-performance vehicle more power or a quieter ride than Texaco Power Premium with the Techron additive.

What's Right for Your Car?
Always start by consulting your owner's manual when deciding what grade of fuel to put in your car. Most vehicles require regular unleaded or super unleaded. Relatively few, mostly performance cars or specialized vehicles, require premium or supreme unleaded.

However, your car's octane requirement can increase over time. Texaco Power Premium with Techron has high octane that can maximize performance in cars with a need for increased octane requirements. Over time, deposits can accumulate in your car's combustion chambers. These deposits can cause knocking, pinging, run-on or reduced performance, particularly if your car has driven over 15,000 miles. A high-octane gasoline can help you reduce or eliminate these problems by improving your engine's combustion process. While some of these engines may be satisfied by the octane offered by our Texaco Power Plus grade, others may require the even higher octane of Texaco Power Premium.
